The most important condition for preparing delicious food is following the recipe instructions correctly. It is impossible to replace one product with another, or one seasoning with another, without compromising the taste of the dish. Variations are, of course, possible, but within reasonable limits. If you don’t have everything you need to prepare a particular dish, it’s better to choose another recipe that matches the set of products you have.
